This top is made from a vintage Sou-Shibori Kimono. Sou-Shibori 総絞り is a traditional hand tie-dye technique. Each dot is tied by hand before the textile is dipped in dye—then each dot is untied manually. A process that can take several weeks. Because of the enormous amount of labor that goes into Sou-Shibori, it is considered a high end textile. This top features a stand collar and generous cuffed sleeves.
