ORDERS FROM THE U.S.
The U.S. Tariff Act, commonly known as the "de minimis exemption” which has allowed goods valued at or under $800 to be imported into the U.S. duty free ended on August 29th, 2025. The new Tariff rate for Japan has been set to 15%.
Orders are shipped from Japan via Kuroneko Yamato, which transfers to UPS in the U.S. When your package ships, we will send you a tracking number for Kuroneko Yamato, which can be tracked here.
Once your package arrives in the U.S., there will be a link at the bottom of the page that reads: "Please press Detail for international tracking.” Click on the link to get the new UPS tracking number listed as “DeliveryTrackingNumber.” It begins with “1Z” followed by a series of numbers.
Use the UPS tracking number to track your package on the UPS website and schedule a delivery time that works for you. If custom fees are due, it will read “An outstanding balance is due on this package.” Click “Pay Now” to make the payment. Your package can only be delivered after you pay the customs fees.
Important: Custom fees need to be paid before three delivery attempts are made, after which point, UPS will abandon or return the package, and you will no longer be eligible for the return policy.
