Yuki (she/her) was born in Japan and relocated with her parents to NYC at the age of eight. She identifies as Japanese American and Asian American.

Yuki has always been passionate about sustainability, and began making clothes after becoming disillusioned by fast fashion.

After living in the U.S. for over thirty years, she has returned to her hometown in Ibaraki prefecture, where she makes clothing from vintage Kimonos.

She is excited to share her culture with the world while exploring the nuanced topic of cultural ownership.
