Visit Made by Yuki studio in the idyllic countryside of Kasama, Ibaraki Prefecture. Discover Kimono types and textiles, enjoy a traditional Bento lunch and learn how to upcycle your own Kimono.

10:30am Arrive at Studio
10:30 - 12:00 Enjoy Japanese treats and tea while learning about Kimono types & textiles
12:00 - 1:00 Bento lunch
1:00 - 3:30 Learn how to take apart a Kimono for upcycling (yours to keep)
Rates
$300 USD per day (up to 3 people)
Each additional person $100 USD
Location: Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture
Kasama is a vibrant town with a large artist and pottery community. Pottery workshops with Yuki’s friends are also available. Traditional inns and English-speaking Air BnBs nearby.
The studio is a walkable 1 kilometers (0.6 miles) from Inada station
There are express trains from Tokyo to Tomobe station. Pickup is available for up to four people.
Please note, we do not provide driving services to other cities/ sites. We highly recommend renting a car if you would like to be mobile in the countryside.
